"Move to Shift Your Mindset: How Physical Activity Changes Your Mood"

When I took part in the 'The Physical Intelligence Institute' training one of my biggest take-aways, in my simple minded way, is that we are a bag of water – roughly 60% water, and how we feel is the result of chemicals held in that water. So much like a settled snow globe, if you want things to feel different - shake things up, quite literally.

Move.

One of my favourites, and a great place to start, is a ‘serotonin twist’ to lift your mood:

“Open your arms to hang around your middle and twist your body to look behind you whilst swinging your arms around. Do this for a minute three times a day or when you are feeling like you need a pick-me-up, and this will raise the serotonin in your gut to promote wellbeing and happiness.”

Easy.
